The Dalit Women's Human Rights campaign is the foundational pillar of Jagrutha Mahila Sangatane. For over 25 years, we have mobilized rural Dalit women to confront caste discrimination, gender violence, and economic exclusion, asserting their dignity and constitutional guarantees.

2026 CAMPAIGN FOCUS: Strengthening Valayasamiti Legal Defenders
We are expanding our network of village-level Dalit women paralegals across 45 villages in Raichur district, providing intensive training on the SC/ST (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, domestic violence remedies, and legal aid facilitation.

Connecting village sanghas into cluster-level Valayasamitis to collectively address atrocity cases, wage disputes, and land encroachments.

Training community women as grassroots legal defenders to accompany survivors to police stations and courts, ensuring accountability.

Empowering Valayasamiti leaders to win Gram Panchayat elections and drive village-level policies on equality, sanitation, and education.
