Samvidhana Jagruti – Bringing Indian Constitutional Values to Rural Communities
Dr. B.R. Ambedkar's Constitution is the ultimate charter of freedom and equality for India's marginalized. JMS runs a continuous constitutional literacy campaign, "Samvidhana Jagruti," across villages, panchayats, and schools in Raichur.
By translating constitutional principles of Equality, Liberty, Fraternity, and Justice into everyday village practice, we empower Dalit women to challenge feudal hierarchies and claim their rightful place in society.
Objectives
Village Constitutional Literacy
Conducting study circles and Preamble reading sessions in rural habitations, making legal constitutional knowledge accessible in Kannada.
Defending Equality & Non-Discrimination
Equipping community leaders to use constitutional safeguards against untouchability, gender violence, and administrative bias.
Youth & Student Samvidhana Clubs
Engaging rural youth and school students through essay contests, songs, and street plays celebrating constitutional values.

45-Village Preamble Reading Campaign
Over 3,000 rural women and youth collectively recited the Preamble across 45 Gram Panchayats on Constitution Day.
Kannada Constitutional Manual Release
Published an easy-to-understand Kannada handbook explaining citizen rights, fundamental duties, and SC/ST protections.
Paralegal Constitutional Defenders
Trained 100 grassroots women leaders as constitutional defenders to mentor village youth and monitor human rights.
